Issues related to the implementation of the country's socio-economic course were discussed at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which was held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov via videoconference.

Opening the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan gave the floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushshikov, who reported on the state of Affairs in the supervised departments.

A separate topic of the report was the implementation of the President's instructions to strengthen productive cooperation with reputable international and regional financial structures, attract foreign investment, and support local producers.

In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister presented to the head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the proposal of the Islamic Corporation for private sector development (ICD) to allocate 10 million US dollars to Finance small and medium-sized businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These funds will be used through the State Bank for foreign economic activity to implement projects aimed at increasing business activity in various sectors of the economy, increasing the types and volumes of goods produced by small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing their competitiveness in foreign markets, and creating additional jobs.

First of all, these measures will help to increase the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, the head of the Turkmen state summed up.

Meredov reported to the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the International conference "Cooperation in the field of energy – the most important condition for universal sustainable development", which is scheduled to be held on December 1 in an online format in accordance with the "plan of celebrations and events in our country and abroad for October-December 2020 in honor of the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan".

The Deputy Prime Minister reported that “Türkmentelekom” specialists have developed software for creating a new modern national e-mail and are currently testing it.

In order to fulfill the tasks, set for the introduction of the digital economy, specialists of the closed joint-stock company "Altyn Asyr" launched the first national online messaging system in our country-a messenger program and its mobile application.

Using the Internet, this mobile software allows you to instantly exchange text e-mail messages, participate in group conversations, talk using video communication, and send and receive various types of electronic files.

Summarizing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that currently the Agency "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" performs an important task to promote digitalization and ensure the functioning of smart networks.

The President of the country demanded to speed up the pace of ongoing work on the introduction of a new national e-mail and messenger program, giving the Deputy Prime Minister a number of specific instructions in this direction.

All this is a visible evidence of the triumph of large-scale cultural and scientific diplomacy conducted by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the interests of peace and universal well-being.

The upcoming international forum in the video conference format, organized jointly by the Makhtumkuli Institute of language, literature and national manuscripts and the Institute of history and archeology of the Academy of Sciences, will review the achievements in the framework of successful cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNESCO and the prospects for their further mutually beneficial cooperation.

Along with this, in the velayats, in accordance with agro technical standards, care for wheat crops continues. The remaining cotton in the fields is also being collected and agricultural machinery and equipment are being prepared for the upcoming cotton sowing next year.

In order to fulfill the tasks, set by the head of state to increase the production of vegetables, melons and fruits in the country, as well as reduce the import of these products, the regions are collecting vegetables and melons planted this fall, placing them in cold storage and selling them to the population.

At the same time, work continues to expand the acreage of potatoes and other vegetable crops. In the Balkan and Mary velayats, sugar beet is harvested.

Addressing Deputy Prime Minister E. Orazgeldiev and the hyakims of the velayats, the President of Turkmenistan noted that now the responsible time has begun for rural workers-the implementation of agro technical measures, the high level of which will contribute to rich harvests next year and ensure food abundance, said the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, ordering to keep these works under strict control.

This is also clearly confirmed by the adoption of a new UN General Assembly Resolution on the neutral status of the Motherland in June 2015.
