Discovery, in cooperation with MEGOGO media service, plans to launch the discovery+ streaming entertainment service in 13 countries of Eastern Europe and Asia from December 2020, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” reports.
In addition to Turkmenistan, the service will be available to MEGOGO customers in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia and Georgia.
Discovery+ will offer documentary, entertainment, and sports TV shows produced by Discovery. Viewers will now be able to access shows from the discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, ID, Discovery Science, Food Network, Travel Channel and Eurosport brands.
MEGOGO subscribers will have access to thousands of hours of VOD and plenty of top sports content on Eurosport 1 HD and Eurosport 2 HD. VOD programs will cover key programs of the documentary and entertainment library, such as "Gold rush", "Machinators", "Big! With Richard Hammond", “Bride's Visa. The groom's visa", "Get Dressed for the wedding", "Doctor Pimple", "Joe exotic: tigers, lies and cover-up", "Who killed Jeffrey Epstein". Also in these countries, viewers will see premium, discovery and documentary content in 4K format for the first time. In addition, sports fans will get even more live broadcasts and reviews of premium Eurosport sporting events, in particular Roland Garros, the Australian Open, the Olympic Games and the like.
