The commodity exchange of Turkmenistan intends to strengthen cooperation with local IT companies

The State commodity exchange of Turkmenistan recently held a meeting with representatives of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs and private domestic IT companies. This is report on the website of the UIET.

During the meeting, the participants were introduced to the implementation stages of the "Strategy for improving the activities of the SCET and implementing digitalization for the period 2020-2025", which include the introduction of an electronic document management system, the exchange's electronic online trading system, the creation of a "single window" system, and the provision of exchange services via the Internet, which will allow all interested parties to participate in the exchange's trading from anywhere in the world.

The UIET presented the activities of entrepreneurs providing IT services and opportunities for their participation in the digitalization of the SCET.

The Director of IE "Kemer" continued the topic and noted that his company, which has been cooperating with SCET since 2011 to provide IT services, intends to continue working in this direction.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the possibilities of cooperation, exchanging specific proposals.

Recall that in order to support product manufacturers, develop the country's wholesale market and improve the activities of the State commodity exchange, the President of Turkmenistan on January 31, 2020 signed the "Strategy for improving the activities of the SCET and implementing digitalization for the period 2020-2025", as well as a program of measures for the implementation of this document. In this regard, one of the important areas is cooperation with business structures that provide IT services.
