President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the state program for the integrated development of chemical science and technology in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 and the action plan for its implementation. The relevant Decree was signed by the head of state at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers today, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The Academy of Sciences, relevant ministries and industry departments are charged with implementing the above-mentioned State program.
In accordance with this Program, it is planned to increase the role of chemical science, conduct research on the development of innovative technologies, production of environmentally friendly, energy-saving, import-substituting, competitive products on world markets, increase the pace of introduction of research results into production, ensuring a close relationship between science, education and production.
Emphasizing the crucial importance of improving the efficiency of scientific research in the field of chemistry and their early introduction into production, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Deputy Prime Minister Mammetmyrat Geldiniyazov, who oversees this field, to take appropriate measures to further stimulate scientific activities, make extensive use of the potential of research institutions and train young erudite scientists.
