Issues of financing Turkmenistan in order to develop an accelerated mechanism to combat the coronavirus pandemic were discussed during a videoconference held at the Ministry of Finance and economy with the leadership of the world Bank in the Europe and Central Asia region, the State news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
In this case, the priority areas are the modernization of energy, transport, the introduction of information technologies in all sectors, and the development of industries related to agriculture. The implementation of a project for the development of fruit and vegetable growing in our country was discussed.
Support for projects by private sector representatives is identified as one of the prospects for bilateral partnership. The world Bank provided the Turkmen side with information about the latest status of the Doing Business project and the process of inclusion in the index.
