Effective methods of dissemination of information during the COVID-19 pandemic was the main topic of a briefing held today via videoconference with the participation of employees of the national media and the representative Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in our country.
Speaking at the briefing, the head of the UN Children's Fund Office in our country, Christine Weigand, emphasized the important role of the media in the prevention of COVID-19 and the protection of health, especially for children.
As noted, today the development and application of effective methods of reporting to the media related to countering the spread of coronavirus is an urgent area of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNICEF. In this context, the work carried out in this area was highly appreciated.
The webinar included presentations on "Key messages in risk awareness: opening schools and messages for parents" and "Regional experiences and best practices".
The participants of the video conference, noting the importance of the latest technologies in the life of modern society, spoke in favor of developing appropriate online resources and digital applications for further promotion of bilateral projects, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
