At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered to develop further measures for state support of the private sector of the economy and submit relevant proposals.
"We should provide financial and logistical support for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, in particular, enterprises specializing in tourism activities," Berdimuhamedov said.
Having demanded to increase the output of consumer goods, the head of state also instructed to activate the work of private agricultural firms engaged in the production of agricultural products, the construction of industrial cold storage of fruit and vegetable products, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
