The bike ride organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia for the world Bicycle day was held in the Olympic sports center of Tbilisi with the assistance of the national Cycling Federation of Georgia.
The event was attended by representatives of the Federation, athletes and coaches.
Before the start, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia, Dovletmurat Muradov, addressed the participants with a speech. He noted that the world Bicycle day, widely celebrated in the world, was established by a Resolution of the UN General Assembly on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Participants of the bike ride are convinced that this sporting event has become a contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries, as well as to the establishment of healthy lifestyle principles.
