Due to the coincidence of “Oraza bayram” with the day off, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree today to postpone the day off from May 24 to May 25, 2020, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The document emphasizes that this decision was made "in order to create favorable conditions for the celebration of “Oraza bayram” and good recreation of the population of Turkmenistan. All institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, are required to ensure the implementation of this Decree."
“Oraza bayram”, which marks the end of the Muslim fast, along with “Oraza bayram”, is one of the two most important holidays of Islam.
