President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reprimanded the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for science, education, health and sports Agamyradov Purli Nurmammedovich today, the program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The reprimand was announced "for improper performance of official duties, weakening of control over the activities of supervised ministries and departments," according to the Order of the head of state.
Having signed the relevant document at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Agamyradov to ensure proper preparation of children's health and entertainment centers for the summer season. In addition, all schools should prepare new textbooks on the digital system and organize appropriate classes, the head of state said, stressing that the main role should be assigned to the Academy of Sciences.
Special attention should be paid to the development of a distance learning system for students of higher education institutions and secondary educational institutions. It is also necessary to carry out proper work to introduce a new form of higher education in the relevant legislation, the President of Turkmenistan stressed.
