Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on digital video communication with the participation of the hyakims of the city of Ashgabat and velayats.
According to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan, the meeting discussed priority issues of implementing large-scale transformation programs deployed in the country, performing seasonal agricultural work, as well as preparing for the upcoming festive celebrations.
The head of state was the first to call the mayor of the city of Ashgabat, Y. Gylydzhov, who reported on the state of Affairs in the capital, the measures taken for its further development and modernization of the city infrastructure.
It was reported on the progress of construction of various facilities, the commissioning of which is planned for the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality, events dedicated to the National holiday of the Turkmen horse, as well as preparations for the summer season.
Hyakim reported to the head of state that on the eve of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse, it is planned to organize mass sports competitions in cycle cross and running under the motto "2020 – Turkmenistan – the homeland of Neutrality: with "Paradise" horses following the principles of a healthy lifestyle".
Noting that the work carried out in Ashgabat should be comprehensive and contribute to its transformation into a modern metropolis, the President pointed to the need to pay special attention to improving the social and living conditions of the population.
An important area of activity of hyakimlik is to improve the quality of services provided to passengers on public transport, and to maintain cleanliness in the capital. You should also constantly keep in mind the planned improvement and landscaping of the city.
The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the quality and compliance with the terms of construction of urban new buildings, where the main criteria are the active use of advanced technologies, compliance of objects with their functional purpose, aesthetics and environmental friendliness.
Touching upon the topic of preparation for the national holiday of the Turkmen horse, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to organize all the planned events at a high level, and also ordered to intensify work on preparing for the upcoming summer season.
The meeting on digital video communication continued with the report of the hyakim of the Akhal velayat Y. Gurbanov, who reported on the current agricultural work in the region, including the rate of cotton sowing, care for winter grains, and measures being implemented to obtain high yields of potatoes, fruits and vegetables and melons.
Along with this, it was reported on the state of Affairs in velayat new buildings, as well as on the program of events on the occasion of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse. In this regard, hyakim informed about mass sports events planned in the velayat.
After hearing the report and focusing on the topic of cotton cultivation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to increase the rate of sowing and pointed out the importance of creating all conditions for high-performance labor of cotton growers.
The head of state gave specific instructions to hyakim on growing the winter grain crop and comprehensive material and technical preparation for the upcoming harvest of grain.
Touching upon the priority tasks of developing the agro-industrial sector, the Turkmen leader stressed that the achievements of branch science and modern technologies should be widely introduced into practice. This will help to increase the production of various agricultural products.
Noting that it is necessary to constantly keep in mind the issues of improving social and household infrastructure in the region, the head of state instructed to ensure control over the implementation of the National rural program and ongoing work on new buildings.
The President also addressed instructions to hyakim on the proper conduct of celebrations dedicated to Turkmen horses.
Then the state of Affairs in the Western region of the country was reported by the hyakim of the Balkan velayat, T. Atahalliyev. It was reported on the progress of cotton sowing, seasonal agro technical events held in wheat fields, construction of facilities for various purposes and preparation for the national holiday of the Turkmen horse, which is annually celebrated on the last Sunday of April.
In this regard, hyakim said that mass sports events are planned to be held in the seaside region on the day of the national holiday.
Summing up the report, the head of state stressed the need for high-quality performance of spring field work in optimal terms, productive use of equipment and other resources, strict compliance with established standards of agricultural technology, and also gave specific instructions for growing potatoes, other vegetables and melons in the region.
Focusing on the priority aspects of the implementation of the National rural program and the modernization of the socio-economic infrastructure of the velayat, the head of state ordered to ensure the timely completion of work on the objects under construction.
The head of the regional administration was also given instructions to hold the planned festive celebrations at a high organizational level.
In turn, the hyakim of Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov reported on the works deployed in the region, including on agricultural lands, where cotton sowing and care for winter grains continue, measures are being taken to lay a new rice crop. There was a report on the state of Affairs on construction sites, as well as on the program of celebrations on the Occasion of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse.
After hearing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the cultivation of high yields of cotton, wheat, and other crops directly depends on the correct organization of all stages of field work on the basis of an integrated approach and taking into account local soil and climate conditions. At the same time, the rich agricultural experience of our people and modern agricultural technologies should be put to effective use.
Having ordered to take appropriate steps to coordinate the activities of specialized structures and increase the rate of cotton sowing, the President pointed out that in parallel with the care of winter grains, it is necessary to ensure that specialized machinery and equipment, grain reception points, are ready for grain harvesting in advance.
Speaking about the importance of meeting the deadlines and quality of construction of social and other facilities, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed a number of instructions to hyakim.
In addition, the head of the administration of the Northern region was given instructions to prepare for cultural events timed to the upcoming holiday.
Then the hyakim of the Lebap velayat Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the state of Affairs in the region, measures being implemented to increase the productivity of the agro-industrial complex, including organized and timely sowing of cotton, growing wheat, rice, potatoes, other fruit and vegetable and melon crops.
At the same time, it was reported on the state of construction of various facilities, as well as on preparations for the national holiday of the Turkmen horse. Hyakim also informed about the plans to hold cycle cross and marathon running competitions on this day.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the priority tasks of the velayat development and pointed out the need to keep the progress and pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the center of attention and solve all issues related to them in a timely manner.
The head of state addressed instructions to hyakim on preparing for the grain harvest, monitoring the implementation of the National rural program, organizing planned celebrations at the proper level, and the state of Affairs at the facilities scheduled for commissioning in honor of significant dates.
The next person to receive a direct video call was hyakim of the Mary velayat D. Annaberdiev, who reported on the rate of cotton sowing, the care of winter wheat, work in the fields allocated for potatoes and fruit and vegetable crops.
The head of the regional administration also reported on the preparations for the grain harvest, the construction of various facilities being carried out on the territory of the velayat, measures to hold events at the proper level in honor of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse and the organization of mass sports events.
Summing up the report, the President instructed to ensure high-quality performance of field work in compliance with the standards of agricultural technology, to establish a clear coordination of actions of production structures.
"First of all, it is necessary to control the supply of cotton growers with seed material in the required volume, to fully use agricultural machinery and equipment in sowing," President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered, "as well as to carry out comprehensive preparation for the harvest of bread," the head of state stressed.
At the same time, the Turkmen leader ordered to consider measures to increase the production of various fruits and vegetables and melons in the velayat.
As for the National holiday of the Turkmen horse, it should be celebrated at a high level in the velayat, as in all regions of the country, the head of state stressed.
