A. A. Gromyko competition of young international experts of the CIS invites you to participate

The A. A. Gromyko competition for young CIS international experts invites students and graduates of higher education institutions, postgraduates, scientists, teachers, journalists, analysts, business professionals, representatives of public organizations, and diplomats from CIS member States under 35 years of age.

The competition accepts original unpublished articles (analytical notes, scientific reports) written independently by one or more authors (no more than 30 thousand characters) and dedicated to the study of the following topics:

Modern international relations in the post-Soviet space, including the development of integration projects – the Union state of Belarus and Russia, the EEU, the CIS, and the CSTO;
The great Patriotic war in the history of international relations;
Diplomatic heritage and principles of A. A. Gromyko;
The role of the UN, its past and future in the system of international relations, the experience of interstate associations and integration;
Preservation of historical memory of the great Patriotic war, problems of history distortion.
 

The deadline for applications is 23: 59 on May 11, 2020.

The contest is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war and the creation of the United Nations.

The contest is organized by Association of foreign policy studies named after A. A. Gromyko, management Academy under the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Institute of Europe with the support of the Permanent Committee of the Union state, MGIMO, Integration club under the Chairman of Federation Council of Russia, the Interstate Fund for humanitarian cooperation of the CIS.

The winners of the competition will be awarded as follows:

- The works of the finalists will be published in a scientific collection of articles, and the winners will be published in the leading scientific journals included in the list of HAC and Scopus (including the magazine "Modern Europe" and MGIMO magazines).

- Finalists will receive a grant to participate in the finalists Forum in Moscow in July 2020 to present their works, participate in unique master classes and cultural programs.

- Winners in the main category will receive valuable prizes-laptop-1st place, tablet-2nd place, smartphone-3rd place. In the debut category – smart watch-1st place, fitness bracelet-2nd place, external hard drive-3rd place.

- There are also prizes in special categories decided by the jury.

 

All finalists will be able to participate in the drawing:

grants for advanced training (for researchers and teachers);
scholarships for research projects;
professional internships in the Eurasian Economic Commission.
