Charter with Russian citizens took off from Turkmenabat to Moscow

Today, a flight of “Sibir” airlines, organized with the assistance of the Russian Embassy, took off from Turkmenabat international airport for Moscow.

According to the information provided by the Russian Embassy, there are 81 citizens of Russia, Japan and Belarus on Board, who temporarily stayed in Turkmenistan and asked for help in organizing the departure.

Recall that air traffic between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation was temporarily suspended due to the situation with coronavirus.

According to the operational headquarters, to date, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Russia has increased to 1,264. 49 people have recovered so far, and four have died.

In Turkmenistan, according to the Ministry of health and medical industry, no cases of coronavirus have been recorded.

Turkmenistan also continues to work on the export of compatriots from abroad, especially from those countries where there is an epidemic of coronavirus. Among them are students who study at the world's leading universities. Special flights for the export of Turkmen citizens from Turkey, Russia, Belarus and other countries have already been organized. Today, in coordination with the foreign Ministry, foreign diplomatic institutions of our country, and the State migration service, various directions of flights are being worked out.
