President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the composition of the inter-Sectoral Commission on increasing food security in Turkmenistan, as well as regulating their exports and imports, signing a corresponding Resolution at a Government meeting today, the press service of the head of state reported.
The inter-industry Commission was established in 2018 to regulate the export and import of food products in Turkmenistan.
At the meeting of the Government, it was reported that with the assistance of the Commission, the list of necessary imports of food products has been studied and work is underway to import them, create sufficient stocks and storage, as well as to form their affordable cost.
The President of Turkmenistan instructed to continue the systematic analysis of the state of the domestic market and the external environment in order to form flexible marketing strategies that meet the needs of domestic and foreign consumers.
