The products of the Lebap economic society "Ýakyn Dost" under the trademarks "Garaja" and "Bagban" are well known to Turkmen citizens. Compotes, jams and canned food from domestic fruits and vegetables, made by Kerki production, can always be purchased in local stores.
This year, "Ýakyn Dost" plans to expand the range and export canned products to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, according to the publication "BT".
Sales Manager Meylis Gelenov reports:
"Now we have already established the production of 7 types of jams – 20 g in a plastic container-for one-time breakfast. We plan that the main buyers of these products will be hotels and resorts."
