More than 400 letters sent from the fronts of the great Patriotic war were found by residents of Tatarstan since the beginning of the year, as part of the project to create a multimedia gallery "Memory Road", the "Победа" website reports with reference to TASS.
In two months, almost 50% of the letters found in Tatarstan for the whole of 2019 were collected, when 876 front-line letters were collected. Tatarstan ranks second in Russia after Moscow in search and adding frontline letters to the site "Memory of the people".
In the buildings of military commissariats, multifunctional centers, medical institutions, social protection departments, as well as in the rooms of “the young army man” in schools of Tatarstan, there are 250 stationary and portable digitization points to activate the search for front-line letters and photos of participants of the great Patriotic war.
The collected photos, letters and other memorabilia about the participants of the great Patriotic war will be transferred to the multimedia Museum "Road of memory" under construction in the "Patriot" Park near Moscow. This interactive Museum will have a length of 1,418 m by the number of days of the great Patriotic war and will become one of the largest in the world.
