Along the external borders of the Commonwealth States, border guards of the CIS countries will hold a Victory relay dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war.
The relay starts on February 5 in Brest and Murmansk. It will pass along the state border of Russia, along the external borders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, reports vb.by.
Special relay groups were organized in each country to pass the ceremony along the border territory. They included representatives of the border Agency, veterans and other organizations.
The border service of the FSS of Russia has prepared common symbols of the relay. They will be transmitted throughout the route.
The memorial marathon will end on May 28 in Moscow.
