One of the leading airlines in Japan – "Japan Airlines" has announced the launch of a campaign to distribute free tickets for domestic flights in two directions for 50 thousand foreign citizens who will visit Japan during the Olympic and Paralympic games in 2020, according to CNN.
According to the information, from July 1 to September 30, foreign tourists will be able to use free air tickets for domestic flights from the international airports of Tokyo, Osaka and Kansai. “Japan Airlines” will begin accepting applications at the end of February 2020, with discounted tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The airline is working with the travel Agency of Japan to encourage travel to rural areas of the country and explore local attractions.
The XXXII summer Olympic games in the capital of Japan will start on July 24, 2020, and finish on August 9, 2020. The Paralympics will be held there from August 25 to September 6, 2020. In 1964, the Olympics were held in Tokyo for the first time in an Asian country. And now, 56 years later, Japan will host the Olympic and Paralympic games for the second time.
During the Games in the capital of Japan, 25 Olympic venues will be involved, mostly near the water, 17 sites are located outside of Tokyo. After the 2020 Olympics, all the facilities will be used for other events.
