The signing of bilateral documents took place following the results of the Turkmen-Italian business forum held in Milan within the framework of the official visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Italian Republic.
According to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan, in particular, 12 memoranda and agreements were concluded on the diplomatic line, in the fields of energy, industry and transport, textile industry, as well as in the field of banking, health and medical industry, education.
In addition, 11 contracts were signed by Turkmen entrepreneurs with various Italian companies, including the supply of equipment and production lines for import-substituting industries.
