The coaching staff of the Lebanese national team announced the squad of the team for the games of the qualifying round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka, the FaLebanon website reports.

For the qualifying match with Turkmenistan and Sri Lanka, the head coach of the Lebanese national team, the Romanian specialist Liviu Ciobotariu, included 23 players in the team — 19 of five national clubs and 4 playing abroad.

Goalkeepers: Mahdi Khalil (Ahed), Ali Daher (Shabab Al Sahel), Ahmad Taktouk (Nejmeh);

Defenders: Abdalah Aish (Nejmeh), Moataz Al Junaidi (Ansar), Hassan Cheaito – Shibriko (Ansar), Hussein El Zein (Ahed), Nour Mansour (Ahed), Alexander Michel Melki (Al Khor, Qatar), Mohamad Zein Tahan (Safa), Kassem Zein (Nejmeh);

Middlefiders : Yehya El-Hindi (Safa), Adnan Haidar (Ansar), Mohamad Haidar (Ahed), Nader Matar (Nejmeh), Felix Michel Melki (AIK, Sweden), Hussein Monzer (Ahed), Hussein Rizk (Shabab Al Sahel).
