Turkmen artists toured in Germany

In Germany, the tour of masters of arts of Turkmenistan, who also took part in the 69th international festival of young artists, held in Bayreuth, was a great success, according to the State news Agency.

According to the information, the program of performances of Turkmen masters of musical art consisted of folk and classical works performed by the chamber orchestra under the direction of Rasul Klychev. A photo exhibition demonstrating the achievements of Turkmenistan was also organized.

According to the source, the official opening ceremony of the festival took place in Bayreuth – the city of music classics R. Wagner and F. Liszt. It was attended by representatives of the creative intelligentsia from around the world, the media, numerous residents and guests of the German city, which received worldwide fame thanks to the annual festival, which was founded by Richard Wagner himself.

The performance of artists from Turkmenistan was met with great interest and enthusiastic applause. There was a folk composition performed on national instruments, as well as works by Nury Halmamedov, Pyotr Chaikovsky, Astor Piazzolla and other world-famous composers performed by the chamber orchestra. In total, as part of the tour, artists from Turkmenistan gave about a dozen concerts.

Photo exhibition, presented the original traditions of the Turkmen.  The exhibition staff allowed to get acquainted with the economic achievements of modern Turkmenistan, as well as to see firsthand the historical and cultural monuments of different eras, including those included in the UNESCO world heritage List.

At the end of the festival, a grandiose international project was organized: a chamber orchestra from Turkmenistan, an Israeli string orchestra, a Romanian wind quintet and a jazz trio from Germany jointly performed the works of the German composer and violist Rudolf Haken, written specifically for this event, which through the love of art United people from around the world, the information says.
