In Turkmenistan opened an amateur hunting season

Today in Turkmenistan opened an amateur hunting season, which runs until 15 March 2020, said to Turkmenportal in " Turkmenohotarybolovsoyuz ". Its terms were determined by the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection of Turkmenistan on the basis of the departmental order. Document published annually as a brochure in two languages – Russian and Turkmen – and extends through "Turkmenohotarybolovsoyuz".

On the eve of the responsible period for the employees of the environmental sphere in the building of the agro-industrial complex, a meeting was held, which was attended by employees of the structural units of the agro-ecological Department, including the province departments of environmental protection, forestry, state nature reserves, the National Institute of deserts, flora and fauna. Representatives of the Ministry of internal Affairs, Society of nature protection of Turkmenistan, Union of societies of hunters and fishermen of the country are invited to the meeting. During the meeting organizational and working issues of distribution of forces and means for inspection of natural areas, preventing poaching were discussed. The participants got acquainted with the document for the current hunting season, outlined a plan of joint activities.

According to the information, hunters of our country must necessarily consist in the Union of societies of hunters and fishermen of Turkmenistan according to the Charter of this organization. There is a scheme for issuing certificates, hunting ticket, for which hunting enthusiasts pass the required minimum. Directly at the time of the hunting season members of the public receive vouchers resolution. The departmental document on the opening of the season determines that hunting is allowed in compliance with all applicable rules of national legislation only on fixed hunting grounds and common areas, as well as only one permitted species of animals according to the established time limits.

Hunting enthusiasts should remember about the need of registration of documents for hunting dogs, safety precautions for the handling of hunting equipment, the observance of fire safety rules formed due to this year's high of deadwood. Environmentalists also remind that all species of wild ungulates, as well as striped hyena and leopard,  are "red book". It is forbidden the hunting of pelicans, black storks, cranes, flamingos and all birds of prey. There are species of animals that are not listed in the Red book of Turkmenistan, but, nevertheless, hunting for them is not allowed. These are all kinds of pheasants, swans, muskrat, porcupine. Given that bird hunting is more like adherence to cultural traditions, hawkers hunting is permitted during designated days of rest.

A careful and responsible approach to nature management will preserve the wealth of ecosystems for future generations.
