The youth team of Turkmenistan today suffered two defeats at the 3x3 World Cup 2019, the FIBA official website reports. The tournament with the participation of the strongest world teams is held June 3-7, 2019 in Ulan Bator (Mongolia).
The men's team of Turkmenistan in basketball 3x3 in the third match of the group stage lost to rivals from Russia - 15:19, and lost in the ending match to the Ukrainian team with a score of 6:22. The national teams of Russia and Ukraine left the group for the playoffs of the competition, Turkmenistan remained on the penultimate line of the tournament table and completed its performance in the tournament ahead of schedule.
Recall, on June 3, the youth team of Turkmenistan in basketball 3x3 lost to opponents from Kazakhstan in the first match of the group stage - 18:20, and in the second - won the team of the Dominican Republic with a score of 19:18.
