From April 13, 2019, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan stops issuing and replacing Visa Electron payment cards. The decision was made after the recommendation of the Visa International Service Association company was reported today to Turkmenportal in Turkmenvnesheconombank.
Servicing of previously issued Visa Electron cards in circulation will be held until their expiration date.
Other types of payment cards Visa Classic and Visa Gold will work as before.
