A Tear of Grief - in New York on the banks of the Hudson on September 11, 2006, a monument to the sculptor Tsereteli was unveiled. The bronze pylon (the appearance of one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center, where was the terrorist attack), is split in two by a gaping wound, in the center of which is an 11-meter tear made of nickel weighing 4 tons. Hachiko - a true story about an Akita Inu dog, was the basis for the British-American film “Hachiko: A True Friend”, which is a remake of the 1987 Japanese film. Every day, the dog Hachiko met his owner, professor of the University of Tokyo, Hidesaburo Ueno, after working at the station, but one day he did not wait - the man died of a heart attack. For a long 10 years, the dog continued to come to the station and wait for his master. In the city of Shibuya in 1934, a bronze monument was erected in honor of Hachiko - a memory of his devotion and love.

Shoes on the waterfront of Budapest - the memorial was opened in 2005 in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. Mass executions of Jews was on the Danube embankment at the end of World War II.
