The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a regular meeting of the Turkmenistan-UN Strategic Advisory Council, where the prospects for bilateral cooperation in priority areas were discussed.
As reported by TDH, strengthening multifaceted relations with the United Nations remains one of the key vectors of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy aimed at international cooperation in the interests of global sustainable development.
The meeting reviewed draft programs and documents on the development of bilateral partnership, including the Framework Program for Cooperation in the Field of Sustainable Development for 2026–2030 and the Joint Program of UN Agencies “Youth, Peace and Security”. The Roadmap for Strengthening Reporting on SDGs in Turkmenistan for 2025–2027 was also approved.
The UN representatives thanked the Turkmen side for its constructive approach and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of new joint projects and programs aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
