October 23, 2024 in the Astrakhan Regional Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya. N.K. Krupskaya Regional Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya hosted an evening of poetry of the great thinker and classic poet of the East - Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
The event was attended by students from Turkmenistan studying at the Astrakhan State Medical University, students of the Astrakhan Social and Pedagogical College and pupils of the school named after Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The literary evening was organized with the assistance of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan. The event was attended by teachers and representatives of the management of the above-mentioned educational institutions, as well as representatives of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Astrakhan and diplomats of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan.
The most famous poetic works of the national Turkmen writer in translations and in the original language were performed by the creative youth. The staff of the Department of Rare Books and Book Monuments presented an exhibition of unique books about Turkmenistan and literary works in the Turkmen language.
