Representatives of Turkmenistan will take part in the International Tourism Exhibition “Silk Road in Xi’an-2024”, which will be held from August 9 to 11 in the Chinese city of Xi’an.
The delegation will be headed by the head of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture, Akyniyaz Agamuradov, Asmannews reports.
The choice of Xi'an as the venue for the forum has symbolic significance. This city, which is a major industrial and cultural center of China, in ancient times was a key point on the Great Silk Road connecting China with the states of Central Asia.
