Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema sent a telegram to the head of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which he expressed his readiness to develop bilateral relations. The message was sent in response to the congratulations of the Turkmen leader on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. This is stated in the message of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
In his address, President Hichilema emphasized the Zambian government's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for cooperation in the oil and gas complex and agriculture.
- I would like to confirm the commitment of the Government of the country to strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation in various fields, such as the oil and gas complex and agriculture, in the interests of our states, - the telegram says.
At the end of his message, President Hichilema wished the head of Turkmenistan good health and prosperity to the country.
