The “Los Angeles Lakers” made a historic selection in the second round of the NBA Draft, taking 19-year-old Bronny James, son of the legendary LeBron James. LeBron James celebrated the momentous occasion by posting a touching photo on his social media account from 2007 of little Bronny attending his father's match. The caption to the photo reads: “Legacy!”

Bronny James, the 55th overall draft pick, previously played for the USC Trojans. His statistics per game were 4,8 points, 2,8 rebounds and 2,1 assists.

It is worth noting that last year the young athlete suffered a serious ordeal - cardiac arrest, after which he underwent surgery and a five-month recovery period.

LeBron James, who began his NBA career in 2003, is a four-time NBA champion and two-time Olympic champion. In March 2024, he set a league record by becoming the highest-scoring player in NBA history by surpassing 40 000 points.
