The artistic and journalistic film of the Turkmenfilm association named after Oguzhan Dutaryň owazy (“Melodies of Dutar”) by the young director Iskandermuhammet Annamuhamedov was shown at the international film festival Farabi Film Festival.
The film aroused the interest of the forum participants and was awarded a special prize by the jury of the film festival, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The film “Melodies of Dutar” introduces viewers to the traditional musical art of the Turkmen people. It was also shown at other international festivals, in particular, the Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" and the International Film Festival of the Turkic World "Korkut Ata".
The Farabi Film Festival was held on April 29-30 as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi in Almaty with the support of the international organization TURKSOY.
