Under the auspices of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute (TSACI), an exciting competition was held for fans of IT technologies - a hackathon, in which students from secondary and higher educational institutions of the country took part. Advanced technologies are actively used in almost all spheres of life, contributing to progress, prosperity of countries and growth of well-being of peoples.

Hackathons are focused on developing IT solutions in various professional fields, united by the task of ensuring information security. Teams of three young programmers took part in the TSACI hackathon. The tasks were developed by teachers and students of the institute specializing in the field of digital technologies.

Most of the teams demonstrated excellent technology and programming skills. The best results were shown by those who completed the tasks in the shortest possible time. The main winner was the team of the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan. The first place was shared by the teams of the Y. Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and TSACI. In second place are the teams of the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Third place was taken by students of the Military Institute named after S. Turkmenbashy, Magtymguly Turkmen State University and Ashgabat Energy Secondary Vocational School.

One of the tasks was related to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi - participants had to identify an encrypted poem by the great poet and philosopher. This made it possible to test the breadth of outlook of future specialists.

During the four-hour hackathon, it was necessary to crack passwords, find hidden files, identify a coded word from 200 photos, and encrypt text in a programming language. Successful completion of all tasks required exceptional competencies in the field of high technology. The debriefing procedure was completely transparent, since participants could observe each other's work and record the time they completed tasks.
