In China, there is an increase in the number of heart attacks among parents helping their children with homework, gazeta.ru reports, citing Oddity Central.

A 40 years old Chinese woman surnamed Dong, a mother of two children, was helping her son with math. The child's inability to understand the task gave Dong severe headaches and nausea, forcing her to seek medical help.

An examination revealed Dong had suffered a minor stroke, believed to be caused by prolonged stress, which had worsened while helping with her homework. According to doctors, such cases are becoming more frequent in China.

Last week, a 37 years old Chinese woman also suffered a heart attack while helping her son with mathematics. Severe grief over the child's poor performance led to serious health problems.

Health experts note that women are more susceptible to such problems due to the constant stress associated with work, household responsibilities and concerns about children's academic performance.
