Today, February 27, a friendly match will be held between the “Ashgabat” football club and Dubai's “Gulf United”. The game will be held in the capital of the UAE, where head coach Said Seyidov’s team is preparing for the start of the new season of the Turkmenistan championship, scheduled for March 4.
The meeting will be held on the field of the JA sports complex at 18:00 Ashgabat time.
The day before, FC “Ashgabat” played a friendly match with Moscow “Lokomotiv”, which ended with the victory of the Russian club with a score of 3:0.
“Ashgabat”, founded in 2006, became the champion of Turkmenistan twice and won the country's Super Cup once.
Let us remind that last season Said Seyidov’s team took fifth place among nine clubs in the Major League of the Turkmenistan Championship.
Before the start of the new season, “Ashgabat” strengthened its squad with several experienced footballers and young players from the club.
