Member of the Halk Maslahaty, chairman of the primary organization of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan of the Ak Bugday etrap Chemen Kenayeva told the “Voice of the CIS” publication about the contribution of women to the successful development of the country.

Women of Turkmenistan are the support and driving force of Turkmenistan, and today they are building the future of their state with enthusiasm and confidence, realizing themselves in all spheres of life, which is evidence of gender equality, she noted.

Gender equality in modern Turkmenistan is not just a declaration, but a reality. As throughout the country, so in the Ak Bugday etrap, girls and women are revered and respected; their role in the development of the region is very high.

- Our women workers realize their abilities and talents in enterprises and organizations in the economic and socio-political spheres. Women participate in large creative and scientific projects. And all these factors are visible and indisputable evidence that in Turkmen society gender equality is observed at all levels and to all degrees”, - Kenayeva emphasized.

Women make a huge contribution to the development of science, education, culture, and healthcare. Their talents and determination serve the prosperity of our society”, - the public figure noted.
