All eight quarter-finalists in the men's singles at the Australian Open have been announced.
The world number one and defending champion, Serbian Novak Djokovic, will play against the 12th racket of the American Taylor Fritz. The world number two, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, will meet with the sixth racket, German Alexander Zverev.
The two remaining quarterfinal pairs will feature third-ranked Russian Daniil Medvedev and ninth-ranked Pole Hubert Hurkacz, as well as fifth-seeded Andrei Rublev and fourth-seeded Italian Jannik Sinner.
Let us remind that the Australian Open is one of the most prestigious Grand Slam tournaments. In 2024, it runs from January 14 to 28, with a total prize pool of more than 58 million USD.
