National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went on a working trip to the city of Arkadag, during which he got acquainted with the sketches of emblems for the football team of the same name, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The head of the Halk Maslahaty noted that the logo of the football club should reflect the development of national sports, especially attracting young people to high-achieving sports, bringing Turkmen football to a high level, and should become the pride of Turkmen athletes.
The “Arkadag” football club was founded in April of this year. In the Championship and Cup of Turkmenistan it represents the city of national importance of the same name. After two rounds, “Arkadag” confidently leads the national championship, with a 100% record - 48 points in 16 games. And in the National Cup, the team reached the semi-finals, where in the first match they beat “Altyn Asyr” from Ashgabat with a score of 4:1, practically guaranteeing themselves participation in the final.
