“Rostov” signed a contract with the football player of the youth team of Turkmenistan Denis Titov

Midfielder of the youth national football team of Turkmenistan Denis Titov signed a contract with the Russian “Rostov”, reports the online edition 7/24.

The contract with the Turkmen footballer was signed at the end of 2022 in Rostov-on-Don. He will play for junior and youth teams from the Russian club system.

Titov is 16 years old, he previously trained at the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Ashgabat.

The captain of the youth team of Turkmenistan delighted the specialists at the qualifying stage of the Asian Cup (U-17) in the Jordanian city of Zarqa. In the match between the teams of Turkmenistan and Syria (1:1), he scored a bright goal.

The attacking midfielder has a full range of qualities: high-speed dribbling, delivered shot, creativity. Titov is able to play not only in the center, but also on the midfield flank, from where he also creates sharpness both with innings into the penalty area and with diagonal shifts for further play. Titov's set of qualities permits him to both hack deep-defending teams with a low block, and catch opponents in the open.

Football club “Rostov” is a sport team famous for many fans, which has been playing in the RPL since 2009. It was founded back in the 1930s under the name “Selmashstroy” and therefore is considered one of the oldest in our country. From 2014 to 2017, a Turkmen specialist Kurban Berdyev worked in “Rostov”. Under his leadership, the team for the first time in its history became the silver medalist of the Russian Championship. In addition, the 2015/2016 season was the most successful in the history of the club. For the first time in all the years of its existence, the team received the right to take part in the UEFA Champions League.

To date, the goalkeeping coach of “Rostov” is the former goalkeeper of the Turkmenistan national team Vitaly Kafanov.
