The police of Ajman, one of the emirates of the UAE, from November 21, 2022 to January 6 next year, introduces a 50% discount on fines for traffic violations, writes the “Russian Emirates” website with reference to Khaleej Times. The discount applies to fines issued to drivers for certain violations before November 11 of the current year.
This is not the first such promotion that allows you to save on paying fines. So, earlier, drivers were given a 35% discount if the fine was paid within two months from the date of the violation and 25% for payment within one year.
Discounted fines can be paid through service centers, the Ministry of Interior or Ajman Police app, and special smart payment kiosks. At the same time, the number of fines must be at least 5 thousand dirhams for individuals and 20 thousand dirhams for companies and institutions.
