Residents of Turkmenistan received SMS messages from the State Statistics Committee on the timing of the upcoming population census

The State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics called on the people of Turkmenistan to take an active part in the upcoming complete census of the population and housing stock of the country.

In particular, subscribers of the mobile operator TM CELL began to receive SMS with information about the timing of the census, and its importance for the further socio-economic development of the country.

The announcement states that “Census 2022: Cohesiveness, Happiness, Bright Future” will be held from December 17 to 27, 2022.

“We will take part in the census together, and together we will determine our future,” the State Statistics Committee emphasizes.

Let us note that this year the census will be held for the first time using digital technologies. It is expected that in this way it should provide the most accurate data on demographic and socio-economic indicators in the country.
