In Kazan, was held a meeting between the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation Guych Garayev and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva. About this reports the official website of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Russia.
During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the progress in the implementation of bilateral events and projects in such areas as healthcare, education, culture and sports. The parties stressed the importance of developing both bilateral and multilateral partnerships in the above areas.
In this regard, the parties reached an understanding on mutual participation in the events held by the parties, and also touched upon specific areas of cooperation in which there is mutual interest and potential for implementation:
- participation of designers from Kazan in the Ashgabat dialogue of international designers on October 20, 2022;
- organization of the performance of the Turkmen group of national equestrian games “Galkynysh” in the Kazan circus;
- holding the Days of Culture of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan in 2023;
- translation into Tatar of a number of Turkmen publications;
- holding events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi;
- familiarization of Tatarstan designers with the technology of manufacturing modern Turkmen outfits with national color;
- cooperation in the field of cinematography, mutual release of short and full-length films, their participation in various film festivals;
- mutual work of Turkmen and Tatarstan linguists, etc.
