New electric buses of “KAMAZ” PJSC will soon enter the roads of the Russian capital. According to representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise “Mosgortrans”, the first batch of eco-buses will go around Moscow after being completed at the SVARZ plant.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maxim Liksutov noted that at the moment 1 000 electric buses operate on the routes of the capital of the Russian Federation, they carry about 400 thousand passengers every day.
“We are actively developing land-based urban eco-transport do that the quality of life in the city becomes even higher and we will continue to introduce electric buses into the city’s ecosystem”, said Liksutov.
It is noted that the new electric buses are equipped with electric heating system, thanks to which the optimal and comfortable temperature for passengers is quickly established in the cabin.
Also in the salons, an adaptive lighting system appeared which changes from cold to warm depending on the time of day. The changes also affected the interior of the electric bus – an additional fourth validator was installed in it, thanks to which it will be more convenient and faster for passengers to pay for travel.
