Turkmenistan representatives will participate in the XIII International Economic Summit “Russia - the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022”, which will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from May 19 to 21.
Last year, the Turkmen side among delegates from 64 countries also participated in this large-scale forum.
Traditionally, the summit is an effective area of economic cooperation of Russian regions and countries of the Islamic world. Here the issues of cooperation and execution of conjoint projects are discussed, presentations of economic opportunities and investment potential are held.
The key topic of the coming summit will be the economy of shared consumption and the universal benefit of Halal, and the main aspects will be Islamic finance and partner banking, conscious consumption, diplomacy, IT industry, entrepreneurship and investment.
Within the framework of the forum, Russian Halal Expo 2022, the annual Engineering Cluster Forum, World Halal Day and events dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria will be organized.
The Modest Fashion Day Festival will cover two thematic sessions where well-known Russian and foreign experts will discuss the prospects of decent fashion and measures to support talented designers.
The 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria will be widely celebrated in Tatarstan this summer. On this occasion, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, during a working visit to Turkmenistan in April this year, invited the Turkmen side to take part in the celebrations, the “Turkmenistan: The Golden Age” edition reports.
