Lionsgate studio officially approved the fact of the upcoming prequel of the “Hunger Games” franchise and announced the release of the tape on the 17th of November 2023. The prequel will be released under the title “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” and will be based on the 2020 novel of the same name by Susan Collins, which tells about the growing up of the dictator of the state, Pan-President Coriolanus Snow.

The cast of the film is not yet known. The “Hunger Games” original franchise was released in 2012.
