The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, creating the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the national teams of Turkmenistan for the XXXIII Summer Olympic and XVII Summer Paralympic Games, which will be held in 2024 in Paris (France), and approved its composition, announced the news program “Watan” of state television today.
The 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11, the Paralympics in the French capital will be held from August 28 to September 8.
The fight for medals will start on July 24, two days before the official opening of the Olympic Games in Paris. The program of the Summer Olympics-2024 consists of 32 sports, covering 306 competitions, among which there is the debutant of the Olympic Games – breaking.
Paris will host the Olympics for the third time. Earlier, the Games of 1900 and 1924 were already held in France.
