The plant for the packaging of healing mud and sea salt in the village of Jebel in the Balkanabat velayat produces 400,000 packages of therapeutic and cosmetic products every year, “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports.
The enterprise consists of three departments: two production workshops and a laboratory. Among the products produced are Mollakar mud, well-known all over the world (200 thousand packs), volcanic mud from Esenguly (100 thousand packs) and sea salt (100 thousand packs).
The healing effect of the silt mud of Lake Mollakara is known far beyond the borders of Turkmenistan. In recent years, its cosmetological properties have been studied, and its benefits for the skin have been revealed.
The healing properties of mud from the unique volcanoes located in the Esenguly etrap are also very high. This mud is widely used in cosmetology and for the treatment of skin, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract and infertility.
Jebel's products are distributed to sanatoriums, health centers and hospitals throughout Turkmenistan.
