Organizational issues related to the participation of representatives of Turkmenistan in the world exhibition "EXPO-2020" in Dubai were discussed today by Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov and Deputy Foreign Minister Berdyniyaz Myatiev and exhibition coordinator for work with foreign participants Omar Shekhade.
During the talks, the parties noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates in a wide range and discussed the importance of the “EXPO-2020” international exhibition in Dubai in terms of the development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the countries.
Participation of Turkmenistan in "EXPO-2020" will not only contribute to the further strengthening of the Turkmen-Emirati relations, but will also provide an opportunity to familiarize the world community with the economic achievements of Turkmenistan and tell about the rich culture of the Turkmen people, the sides stressed.
Expo 2020 will open on October 1, 2021. Within 182 days, the city of Dubai will host a global exhibition. It will be attended by 192 states, as well as international organizations. Amazing discoveries and fantastic entertainment await visitors.
The national exposition of Turkmenistan is located in the thematic zone "Mobility". The pavilion invites visitors, using multimedia technologies, to appreciate the splendor of the Akhal-Teke breed of horses and Turkmen traditional carpets, to be inside an interactive hologram and see how the “digital” harvest of cotton and wheat, which responds to touch, grows.
