The exhibition under the name “Treasury of minerals” dedicated to the Day of gas and oil industry and geologists works in the State museum of State cultural center of Turkmenistan.
The exposition has three thematic areas.
In the first area exposed archeological evidences found on the territory of Turkmenistan: flint knives and arrowheads, various dishes and vessels for storing cosmetics, beads made of carnelian, turquoise and lazuli.
In the second area located different minerals and rock formations found in our country. Here, also, shown portraits of scientists, who made a huge contribution to the development of geological science of Turkmenistan and the literature on minerals.
In the third section, there are exponents from funds of the Museum of the President of Turkmenistan. These are items made of ornamental stones, souvenirs decorated with precious and semi-precious stones, unique vases and compositions where polished natural stones of extraordinary beauty are used.
The exhibition was opened by Enejan Altyeva, head of nature department of the State cultural center of Turkmenistan.

Mineralogical Sciences Sona Kerimova and an engineer of the II category of the Central Production Laboratory of the State Enterprise “Turkmengeologiya” Suray Djoraeva.
