The MAX messenger has expanded its geographic reach and now supports registration using phone numbers from Turkmenistan with the +993 code.
Previously, the service was available to users from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia. In addition to the CIS countries, residents of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Türkiye, the UAE, and Laos can now register for MAX. Turkmenistan has now joined this list.
To register, you need to download the MAX mobile or desktop app—it's not possible to create a profile through the web version. The registration process is standard: the user enters their phone number, receives a 6-digit confirmation code via SMS, specifies their name, and optionally uploads a profile photo.
In some regions, functionality restrictions apply: users can communicate with those who added them to their contacts or messaged them first, but cannot initiate chats with strangers or join group chats via a link.
