Today, in honor of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's sacred independence, celebrations were held at the modernized Ashgabat Equestrian Complex, attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the Speaker of the Mejlis, members of the government, heads of ministries and industry agencies, public organizations, media outlets, and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan gathered there early in the morning. Everyone enthusiastically welcomed the President.
An exhibition featuring the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, and five regions of the country, was held along the path leading to the main entrance to the complex.

Among the exhibits are ornate horse harnesses encrusted with precious stones—authentic works of art demonstrating the skill of Turkmen jewelers.
En route, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov watched performances by Turkmen artists.
The vibrant performances lent the event a festive atmosphere, typical of a true Turkmen celebration.
From the stands, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov watched the festive races, which included seven races of varying distances.
